June is a busy month, and here are a few highlights of what’s happening in the week ahead. As always, check our calendar for local events.
Telegramme Prints, at 194 Ossington, is hosting Meet the Designers as part of Ontario Craft Beer Week. On June 18th from 6-9pm drop by the shop to meet the designers of the Beau’s Brewery beer labels, sample some snacks provided by The Dock Ellis, and have a Beau’s in support of Sketch.ca, a community arts organization.
In other beer related news, local beer bar and micro-brewery Get Well Bar is already celebrating 2 years in business! Head over to 1181 Dundas West for their 2 Year Anniversary Spectacular on Thursday, June 19 from 5p-2a. They’ll be serving all Get Well house-brewed beer for $5 a pint all night long.
The Ossington Stop, a late night comfort food eatery replacing The Arrow at 1164 Dundas Street West (you may know it as Ossington Station but they’ve already changed their name), is scheduled to open this Friday, June 20th.
It also looks like Mamakas, the long-time-coming Greek restaurant on the corner of Humbert Street will finally open it’s doors this week.
