Year Old Restaurant Hungry Amoo is Closed
Ossington restaurant Hungry Amoo is closed. We don’t know exactly when the Middle Eastern influenced restaurant stopped operating, but it was barely open a year this September 22nd. 74 Ossington, which was empty for years before Houman Pourmarz turned it into his restaurant, is vacant once again. It’s a shame because the brunch and dinner were acknowledged as very good, with 5 star ratings across the board. Pourmarz even revamped his menu earlier this year to reflect community feedback, which may have gained him a few months, but not enough.
Ossington Restaurant for Sale
The restaurant is now for sale for $350K with LLBO license and walk-ins. If you are looking to open a restaurant in one of the city’s top neighborhoods for restaurants, here’s your chance! And there is no denying Ossington is still hot! Anthony Rose’s newest addition to his empire, Schmaltz Appetizing, and the latest from Howard Dubrovsky, Bar Sybanne, both opened this month at 224 and 229 Ossington, respectively, and more to come!
As always, keep us posted of news from Ossington and we’ll do the same.
