Get Well Turns 5

Summer is coming and with it some fun events and changes at local restaurants! Here’s a list of upcoming Ossington Village food and drink events for June 2017.

Smoke Signals patio

They’ve already begun! Every Sunday this summer, Smoke Signals BBQ is utilizing the patio across the street on Dundas West for weekly outdoor patio parties, with their signature barbecue eats and Ace Hill brews. This event is Sundays all summer from 12n-8p, but make a reservation, because it’s going to be popular!

Superpoint 2 Night Pizza Collaboration, Sunday June 11, 4-11p and Monday June 12 4-11pm

Superpoint Pizza Party

Ossington’s newest pizza parlor is throwing a two day pizza party. The reason? They’ll have two special guests collaborating on pizza! These guests are Falco, the Pizza Guru and founding pizza maker at Roberta’s Pizza in Brooklyn, and Toronto’s own Werewolf Pizza, the underground pizza that mysteriously pops up sometimes, but definitely this weekend, at Superpoint. The event runs Sunday and Monday nights, and if you want to try these special pies, we recommend you get there early, because they won’t take reservations. That’s right. It’s strictly first come, first served.

Bar Sybanne Opening Soon at 229 Ossington

It looks like the space recently vacated by LAS won’t be unused for long, because renovations have been going at full force at 229 Ossington. Daily Hive reported it first that Bar Sybanne will be a new Mediterranean restaurant in the space. The venture is from Toronto chef Howard Dubrovsky, formerly of the delicious LAB on College Street. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for Ossington!

Don’t forget our post on food specials by day. If you know of any other upcoming food and drink events, be sure to let us know in the comments or on our Facebook page. Enjoy your meals!
