I just found out on social media that retailer Play, which opened at 216 Ossington in November, is closing its doors this week.
The clothing store focused on unique fashion from European and Asian designers not commonly found in Toronto. Although Ossington is building daytime foot traffic, with lots of more established and even “chain” brands setting up shop here, it may be too difficult to create a name for a new indie brand.
Play is having a big sale until end of business Wednesday, March 22nd, on everything but shoes. If you didn’t check it out before, now is your last chance.
