This morning, while walking Ossington, I noticed that the location where The Saint was supposed to go now has a new For Rent sign on the location.
This place had some hype even before it had even opened. In March Toronto Life talked about how this place was bringing new life to the Ossington strip. All part of the Ossington mythology, because in reality it was simply a construction site. One has to credit good PR, for making unreality reality.
Hopefully the landlords will come to encourage the city councilors to vote against the current proposal in front of them. Otherwise their location won’t be rented because no entrepreneur will want a space where they have no ability to grow their business.
