Update July 4th: O Nosso Talho Closed Indefinitely for Renovations.
A two alarm fire inside Portuguese butcher shop O Nosso Talho shut down a section of Dundas West yesterday afternoon. The fire was controlled but O Nosso Talho remains closed. The fire damage cannot be determined, as windows are boarded up, but the burnt smell remains on that section of Dundas West of Dovercourt.
Calls to the butcher shop at 1326 Dundas Street West go unanswered, but there are people inside. No word if it’s still the fire department or an inspection team or employees of the shop. We will keep you posted as we learn more and when O Nosso Talho reopens. For now, here’s a few photos from the scene.
