Opium Snack Bar is now open on Dundas West. The new business adds to a long history of cafés, bars and restaurants in the space at 1321 Dundas Street West, between Coolmine and Rusholme. The last occupant was 86ed, which closed for renos last summer and didn’t reopen.
Expect Asian fusion snacks like Opium fried chicken and baos, alongside creative cocktails. Bar rails are currently a deal at $3.50 during the bar’s soft opening this week.
We haven’t had a chance to stop in and sample the menu yet, but we took a few photos of the exterior, and Opium Bar has posted their own photos on social media.
