Dundas General Closed
Dundas General, the coffee shop/housewares store and more which opened last spring, is closed. Based on the sign posted on the front door, the landlord locked the tenants out of the space for failure to pay rent. Dundas General was at 1239 Dundas Street West, just west of Grove.
According to the document, which was posted on Wednesday, December 6, the business owner owes the landlord almost $30,000. The business owner does have an opportunity to pay the debt and re-open, however, the message on the cafe/retailer’s website homepage indicates the business is closed for good:
