Tiger of Sweden is launching an event series which will bring together a bunch of Ossington businesses for summer events outside on their front patio to celebrate the street and its diverse and vibrant community.
We love when Ossington business collaborate or use each other’s products, like the new Bang Bang Ice Cream shop creating Bellwoods Stout or Sam James coffee flavours, and the Bellwoods maintained hops that grow from the I deal coffee patio. This weekly series, every Saturday and June, called #TigerLovesOssington on Twitter, sounds like a new collaboration we will also love!
This Saturday, June 7th, between a stroll along Dundas for the Dundas West Fest, stop in at Tiger of Sweden at 56 Ossington for some Oysters and Lobster Rolls from Rock Lobster Food Co, or ladies lemonade and pineapple mojitos put together by the team from The Painted Lady. You’ll even be able to get dolled up as the folks from Parlour Salon will be doing summer haircuts right there at Tiger of Sweden.
Upcoming event details are still being worked out by Tiger of Sweden, but they will include partners from Ossington.
On June 14th, they are celebrating Father’s Day by serving up some Sam James iced coffee for gift shopping for dad. More details still to come!
June 21st will be the longest day of the year, so what better way to celebrate than with tequila cocktails and ceviche from Reposado for Tiger of Sweden’s Summer Solstice party.
Finally, on June 28th, it’s getting close to Canada day, so Bellwoods Brewery and the Drake General Store (no, they aren’t on Ossington, but I suppose they are close), will be putting together beer and Canada themed gifts.
We are excited by this collaboration and look forward to seeing more. Who knows, maybe Pinkalicious from the Lower Ossington Theatre will stop by?
We will continue to make updates as we learn more – check our calendar for this and all local events.
