You may have noticed some activity in the little space adjacent to Boehmer Restaurant at 93 Ossington Avenue. We have inside information – because we stopped and talked to someone coming out of the space – that it’s a bakery and ice cream shop! We stopped by again today to take some photos.
Word on Twitter is that this will be a new location of Toronto’s own Bakerbots Baking – which already has a location up near Ossington subway station at Bloor Street. According to the representative we spoke to a few weeks ago, the focus on Ossington will be ice cream. They’ll be dishing out some exotic – and likely delicious – flavours.
We believe this shop may be called Bang, as evidenced in the logo photo taken today at the shop, and the tweet below, which also reveals they are incorporating local flavors from Bellwoods Brewery:
