You’ve probably seen the paper on the window at 129 Ossington, just north of The Pedal Stop. Another fashion shop is opening on Ossington: this time it’s Victoire Boutique, straight from Ottawa where founders Régine Paquette and Katie Frappier have been running a shop since 2006. Victoire is a fashion boutique which, in the founders words, is “smitten with Canadian design.”They feature items that are edgy, classic, gold or embroidered. That covers a lot of great stuff.
They’ve begun renovating the space formerly housed by an art gallery, and expect to be open by late February.
Other than going to Ottawa, you can browse their wares online or via their social media pages. They showcase a lot of Canadian designers, pretty clothing and jewelry, so it should be a good addition to your shopping sprees at Crywolf, Rescue Vintage and more.
We’ll post more once the shop is open and we get a chance to look inside.
