Canadian Music Week hits Toronto March 19-24, and you’ll be able to check out some of the live music shows right here in Ossington Village.
The headliners of this year’s music festival include worldwide phenomena and scandal–ridden artist Rihanna, local stars Metric, and Canadian pop idols Hedley. Tickets for all of those shows are available; if you’d like to show-hop during the festival, there are also wristbands that allow entry to most events over the 6 days.
Shows are taking place all over the city: local venues include The Dakota Tavern, The Painted Lady and The Garrison. There’s an Indie Montreal Showcase on Friday night at The Garrison with Lakes of Canada, an Audio Blood Showcase at the Dakota on Thursday night with local band Cai.ro and Ottawa’s Amos the Transparent, and the CMF Closing Party is once again at Painted Lady on the Sunday night.
