It’s about to get busier around here with two new Ossington Village businesses opening soon.
Kadence World, 146 Ossington
Do you have any interest in art, skateboarding and/or music? Then the new Kadence World location at the former Ossington Tire store on Ossington may suit you. The marketing agency is opening a space where all three converge, so the art installations already in place are only the starting point.
Kadence World is opening very soon at 146 Ossington. They’ve already begun decorating the exterior with art and have posted some events on Facebook and Instagram, including one set to occur during Ossfest this Saturday night. Since you’ll already be exploring everything Ossington has to offer on July 28th, why not check out the space where art, music and skateboards come together?
La Barbería, 1153 Dundas Street West
Dundas West is getting a new barber shop. 1153 Dundas Street West is being converted, with paper over the windows and work going on inside. The exterior already has a sign marking it as “La Barbería,” which is Spanish (or another Romance language) for The Barber.
1153 Dundas Street West is on the south side of Dundas just west of Ossington. The space was formerly home to Cristal Shoes Boutique, a Portuguese shoe store.
A quick online search of La Barbería offers a couple yelp reviews from San Francisco who are already big fans of this Toronto barber! as well as some premature google reviews. We will keep you posted when the shop actually opens. In the meantime, you’ve got Town Barber just down the street.
