About TODO
TODO is Canada’s largest festival of design and runs for a week in Toronto, January 15-21, 2018. As a kick-off to Toronto’s Design Week, TODO features exhibitions, lectures, events and window installations across Toronto. You can experience some of the TODO events in the Ossington Village area.

Mobility – Exhibition at Milk Glass
You can check out projects from Sheridan College design students around the subject of Mobility. The exhibition opens with an opening reception on Wednesday, January 17 from 6-9PM. If you can’t make opening night, the free exhibition runs Thursday-Sunday starting at 12 noon.

Museum of Contemporary Work – Exhibition at Artscape Youngplace
Our local Artscape is hosting a pop-up exhibition focused on design that helps us work. The free exhibit takes over the hallways at the Shaw Street building, and features tools from past, present and future that support labor. The Artscape space, and the TODO exhibit, is open Monday-Sunday starting at 8AM.

TODO or Die Party – Event at The Garrison
Celebrate design in Toronto at TODO’s first ever dance party at The Garrison. The new event is this coming Friday, January 19 from 10P-2A. Entry is $10 in advance or at the door.

Wood Quilt – Window Installation at Stylegarage
For TODO, Stylegarage is showcasing an art piece called Wood Quilt, which is a wall decoration made of cedar blocks. The Ossington furniture and décor store is mounting this piece for the duration of the festival. Wood Quilt is a window installation by Toronto designer Devin Schaffner, so just walk by the shop starting Monday, January 15th to see the artwork.
