Ossington is becoming more and more a mecca for fashion, with shops like Philip Sparks and Jonathan + Olivia making their mark upon the street with modern style, as well as vintage shops like Rescue and I Miss You. Today marked the launch of the newest fashion store with Tiger of Sweden opening at 56 Ossington, where X-Space gallery used to be. The space is completely redesigned and looks fresh and new inside with a full line of both men’s and women’s wear.
Tiger of Sweden, founded in 1903, is an established brand in Sweden, and started as a Menswear line with mix and match suits suitable for both office and after-work play (think hanging out with friends for a drink at OddSoeul or Bohmer). Recently they have added a line of similar functional and stylish mix-and-match fashion for women. This store is their second in North America after opening at 1130 de Maisoneuve in Montreal in 2009. They are looking forward to getting to know the neighbourhood as it continues to grow, so stop by and say hi to some of their delightfully friendly staff.
