Since Hawker Bar closed in April, 164 Ossington has been empty. The two story space was previously a revolving door of cafes until Hawker had its 6 year run just north of Ideal Coffee.

Signs are covering the front of 164 Ossington, touting the future opening of “the Japanese new wave” at The Shozan Room. Expect “Japanese food, reimagined” as expressed on their website. Not much else is listed on their site, aside from the employment opportunities. The Shozan Room Ossington will open sometime this fall.
