Rally Ossington, the hybrid gallery/event space at 12 Ossington, is closed. I received an email this morning detailing the news.
A unique place
Rally was created by Hermann & Audrey, a media agency representing fashion brands and artists. Rally Ossington was a unique “experiment” formed in late 2015 by the agency with support from Hullmark Development. According to today’s release from Hermann & Audrey, the experiment was a success! Their goal of nourishing a creative identity and community in Toronto and the Ossington Village neighborhood was achieved through more than 62 events including pop-up sales, mural projects and art exhibitions.

Now that Rally is closed, there is no word on what will take over the space which has been an art gallery for years. Before Rally, Angell Gallery filled the room. Probably Hullmark already has a tenant in mind. As soon as we know, we’ll post here!
