Halloween is only a week away, and there are a lot of different ways to celebrate Halloween on Ossington in the days between now and next Monday. Some are free, some are not, and some are good for children too!

The Art of Darkness, Artscape Youngplace
October 28, 5-8PM, free admission, all ages
Artscape Youngplace is offering a host of Halloween related activities, mostly for kids and their parents this Friday night from 5-8pm. The event takes over most of the Shaw Street building and includes performances and interactive activities like painting and stickers.

Halloween Fright Night, Opera Bob’s
October 29, 9PM, free admission
Opera Bob’s encourages costumes for this Halloween party, so much so they will be offering prizes for the best! There will be DJs.

This special edition of the recurring storytelling night will focus on spooky stories at The Garrison just in time for Halloween. Tickets are available for purchase online.

Halloween Parade, Trinity Bellwoods Park
November 1, 6pm, free admission, all ages
This annual event invites community members to bring their carved pumpkins to the park. Then the volunteers light all the pumpkins for all to see and enjoy. Cider and a pumpkin toss to follow.
