Update: the festival had been postponed until Sunday due to rain.
Toronto has a lot of cyclists and a lot of music lovers, just like the Ossington neighborhood. This weekend, enjoy both with the free, outdoor, bicycle-centric Toronto Bicycle Music Festival.
The Festival runs this Sunday from 12:30-8PM, across 3 city parks (and bike rides in between), with over 8 musical acts, and it’s completely free.
The event starts at David Crombie Park in the east end, travels to Grange Park, and ends up in our part of town, at Trinity Bellwoods, by approximately 5PM.
There will be musical acts at each park, and on the rides in between sets! Full schedule is on their site, but below is the Trinity Bellwoods’ schedule of performers:
- 5:15PM– 6:00PM – Wilderness of Manitoba
- 6:00PM– 6:15PM – Abigail Lapell, Dana Sipos and Jessica Moore
- 6:15PM– 7:00PM– The Strumbellas
So jump on your bike, borrow or rent one, and join the festival for the day. Or, head over to Trinity Bellwoods around 5pm, listen for the sounds of music and look for the sight of hundreds of bicycles. I’m sure you’ll find the group!
