Another Ossington area establishment is officially closed. Bar/nightclub Oak Island is now closed and the space at 121 Ossington Avenue is available for rent.

About Oak Island

Oak Island opened in the spring of 2017 as a mostly weekend only establishment. With PR professionals behind the business, the nightlife spot attracted press attention when it first opened last year.

In the last several months, the nightclub was only open sporadically. Social media posts stopped in July, and it’s not clear when it served its last drink.

121 Ossington

121 Ossington is just south of Argyle on the east side, south of Golden Turtle and north of 109 Oz. Before Oak Island, the space was occupied by game-friendly bar The Well and Italian take-out spot More Than Pasta.

There is now a sign in the window advertising the space is for lease, and the bar is empty. An online search shows an attempt to sell the business. Now, there is a for lease sign but no rental listing for it yet.
