The weather was fabulous for the 5th annual Dundas West Fest, and so was everything else.
Crowds of people hit the street from morning to midnight, and there was something for everyone on Dundas West: food, drinks, music, comedy, activities for kids, a big gay patio, sports, a Harry Potter themed patio, a mural painted in a day, and more. A recap in photos below.

One of the real gems of the Ossington Village is Saturday afternoons between 4 and 7pm at the Communist’s Daughter. Michael Lewis Johnson holds one of the most unique regular live music shows in in the city. The small 25 seat bar is transformed back in time; Michael sings and plays cornet in songs from the 20s, 30s and 40s – what he calls Gypsy Jazz – while simultaneously bartending and playing gracious host to an always-packed house.
