Get your lobster caesars while you can. the 110 Ossington location of Rock Lobster Food, which opened to great fanfare in Winter of 2012, will be closing after March 1, 2016. The lobster caesar was consistently ranked one of the best in Toronto.
Since the opening of Rock Lobster Ossington, founder and owner Matt Dean Pettit has gotten busy – and busier. The entrepeuner has, among other things, starred in a Food Network Canada web series, published a cookbook, opened 2 other outposts of Rock Lobster (and closed one), partnered with corporate brands, and released a line of ready-to-eat products with Sobey’s supermarkets.
He’s not taking a break either! The next plan for Pettit is Matty’s Seafood Co, a fast casual concept he plans to bring nationwide. Don’t worry, his lobster rolls will still be available there and at Sobey’s.
