Toronto Beer Week is happening across the city and in our neighborhood again this September 14-22. Among the bars and breweries taking part, expect specials and events at Bellwoods Brewery, The Painted Lady, The Dakota Tavern and The Garrison.
There are beer crawls, dinner pairings and tastings, and specials on certain beers. Bellwoods Brewery is participating in the Home Brew Competition, and will release the winning beer as a one-off on tap at their brewery.
As we all know just from living and drinking in Toronto, craft beers are growing in popularity. The emergence of bars like Get Well and brewers like Bellwoods demonstrates that Ossington is right in tune with the trends. We’ve covered the previous events, and in its third year Toronto Beer Week looks like it will be bigger and more comprehensive than ever. So go try some new beer!
