Killer steak and veal, outrageously tasty desserts, a really nice wine, and bread to die for. On top of this they are so nice. Every neighborhood needs a bistro, and food-wise Beau Lieu is the finest I’ve been to in Toronto (including the Harbord places, that Annex spot, and Le Select).

Classic french food with extreme charm. The hosts were lovely and the food was great. Had the French Onion Soup, Nicoise Salad and a a couple of tarts – raspberry and lemon – both outstanding.

It’s really about the same as Paramour, Union and Bohmer – perhaps cheaper, and the food is delish! Obviously not cheap snacks.
