Reposado’s House Band, The Reposadists, release their first album

Another Ossington music tradition, like Saturday Matinees at The Communists Daughter, is checking out The Reposadists, the house band at Reposado bar at 136 Ossington. And like Michael Johnson and Red Rhythm a couple weeks ago, last Saturday night they released their first album bringing the sounds of Reposado on a Friday night outside the bar to iPods and music players.

If you haven’t been to Reposado to hear these guys, you should. They bring a unique sound to old classics with bar owner Sandy holding down the vocals and sounding a bit like Chet Baker. Sip a shot of some of the city’s best tequila selection and come on a Friday night.

You can download the album at CDBaby here.
