It’s filled with processed, packaged goods.

Clafouti croissants are awful and I’ve heard they’re not made by them – just baked on site. Try the amazing Pain Perdu croissants at La Fromagerie on College St. – these are real croissants.

Did someone steal the middle aisle – it’s such an empty store. Central Convenience three doors West of City Store Grocery has a slightly larger selection of fresh produce and they sell wonderful Harmony organic chocolate milk.

I really want to support local business, but City Store Grocery brings nothing new to the neighbourhood and unless they have big plans, I don’t see this shop lasting more than six months.

What we really need are proper fresh produce stores, has anyone taken a walk on Roncesvalles or in Bloor West Village or on Yonge at Davisville (among many other places) – these areas have more than one shop close to each other and all seem to be thriving. We should at least lobby for a Sobeys Express or something similar.
