This blog is a collaboration between Melinda Medley and Brian Sharwood.  We live just off the newly developing Ossington village – the vibrant section between Dundas and Queen. We are excited and privileged to live in this part of town during a tremendous transition.

The Ossington Village is a community of homeowners, businesses and residents enjoying this little section of the city visited by many. We set up this blog as a labour of love to highlight and promote the activities and people of the neighbourhood. It is also a chronicle of the story of the evolution of area.

    Hi Brian,
Just a quick question…I was just wondering why AWOL Gallery is not listed under the galleries and artspaces directory. They have been on Ossington since 1999 when none of the listed establishments were around.
    Thanks,ozrez

Purely because I missed it. My fault, but it’s up now.

Just discovered this blog, and I think it is fantastic. I live in the neighborhood and enjoy knowing about the businesses around. It is great to know about the people behind (or inside) the stores.
Love the blog, keep it up Brian!

  • We need a fruit and vegetable store, just like the ones they have in the many other villages of Toronto.
