Local restaurants are busy hosting events and making changes. Springtime appears to also be time for Ossington Village food news. We’ve got a round-up of some of the opportunities for good eating in the weeks ahead.

Kungfu Dawg at The Garrison

Tonight is the launch party for Kungfu Dawg‘s hot dogs on the menu at The Garrison. Even if you can’t make it tonight, their veggie, corn and meat dogs are now available Tuesday-Saturday nights from 6pm at the venue on Dundas West.

New Menu at MoTo Snack Bar

Dundas West’s delicious Italian snack bar just announced their new spring menu which they’re already serving nightly. Don’t worry, the sardine is not going anywhere.

Brunch is back at Ufficio

Ufficio, the Italian seafood spot at Dundas West, recently relaunched their Sunday brunch. Reservations are available on Open Table.


Southeast Asian Brunch at Hawker Bar

This Saturday, April 8th is a special opportunity to have brunch at Hawker Bar. Organized by U-Feast, the meal costs $35 and includes some delicious-sounding food like sausage and egg dumplings! There are only a few seats available so book now.


Beer, Bacon and Beats at Rashers

Rashers Beer Bacon and Beats

Rashers has two more bacon and beer collaboration at their Ossington Avenue spot. Each night features Rashers bacon sandwich creations paired with a different Ontario craft beer brand. The next, April 13, features 5 craft beers from Sawdust City Brewery for $30 is sold out, but the Henderson Brewery event on May 11 is still available.


Traditional Night at Soos

Soos hosts another of their popular traditional Malaysian dinners on April 25th. For only $45 per person, you can dine on their family-style menu of Malaysian food inspired by Indonesian cuisine. Book in advance through the restaurant.
