LAS, originally named La Saucisserie when it first opened less than 2 years ago at 229 Ossington, is closed.

Never a particularly busy spot after replacing well regarded fine dining destination Yours Truly, LAS struggled to find it’s place on the Ossington strip. Opened as a craft beer and sausage hall, LAS tried to gain traction with DJs and live music, sold buytopia vouchers, and hosted painting parties throughout it’s two years in business. It doesn’t seem to have worked.

The website doesn’t load anymore, and the restaurant’s social media accounts have been inactive since early March. The paper recently added to the inside of the doors and windows may mean someone is renovating for a future venture. For those who remember, this place used to be a coffee shop before Yours Truly. We’ll keep you posted when we learn more about the next tenant of 229 Ossington.
