We are sad to say, after just 2 years in business on Ossington, Goed Eten closed its doors this weekend. Despite mostly positive reviews for brunch, waffles and delicious pastries, and a recent addition of beer taps to their offerings, Goed Eten is out of business.
We received confirmation of the closing via Goed Eten’s Twitter account, where Johan told us he plans to devote his time to his other restaurant, Petit Dejeuner, on King Street East:
We will miss those waffles, and we wish the entire Goed Eten team good luck! We doubt 188 Ossington, with its full kitchen and liquor license, will stay closed for long.
